Lina Joy’s case is rarest of the rare when it comes to law of the Islamic apostasy as most of the Muslims fear of being rejected by family and society and possibly murdered. In Sharia law, the penalty for a Muslim who departs from Islam is death.

This is proving a deterrent against conversion from Islam. I think it is a symptom of a strong and pervasive traditional Muslim attitude, towards non-Muslims and the non-Islamic world.

that is what i am contesting, sharia does not punish apostasy with death. loot at the verses of quran quoted in my post.

I think the lady should be sent to mental asylum because Christianity is not a religion.The only religion in the world is ISLAM and rest is all faith.

All the lair of the world now united against Islam.

I a person living in US and supports for AL-Quada(only verbal support) then will US Government give him SO called Freedom of Expression.

Same thing apply for a Indian.

Mr Askar, whatever your think about the lady, thats up to you, but you add few little controversial stuff thats what I don’t like.

you can not say that only islam is a only religion, the base of any religion is faith, if you don’t faith than there is no religion.

majority of world population follows Christianity, all are they fool.

no dear no, try to purify your ideology, that will be good for you as well as for society.

I think Mr Askar is not right is rejecting Christianity as faith. you can not be a Muslim if you do not believe in Jesus as prophet and Bible as book of Allah. Marriages are allowed between mMuslim males and Christian females. Lets try to understand Islam more objectively.
